Basic Safety Orientation Plus (BSO)
Basic Safety Orientation Plus (BSO) is an interactive worker safety awareness program designed to provide participants with information about occupational health and safety hazards. It incorporates the requirements defined in Ontario Regulation 297/13, Section 1.(3) for worker awareness training with local health & safety data and standards specific to the Safety Partnership in Sarnia-Lambton. It is valid for three years and followed by the Basic Safety Recertification (BSR) program.
The BSO Plus Annual Safety Refresher is an annual checkpoint test designed from the BSO Plus program content, which refreshes participants on important health & safety hazards that will help them stay safe on the job.
Each BSO Plus Safety Topic is a monthly review designed from the BSO Plus program to provide participants the opportunity to stay current on the safety information over the 3 years before refresher training.
